Motorola Edge+ (2023) Highlight

Motorola Edge+ 2023 is not exactly a new device. It is the US version of the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, which debuted in Europe back in April. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The curved panel features an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance. There’s Gorilla Glass Victus protection on both front and back of the smartphone.

In the rear camera department, the Motorola Edge+ gets a main 1/1.55-inch main 50MP sensor with OIS support, a 1/1.22-inch 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 117-degree FoV, and a 12MP telephoto unit. For selfies, you get a 60MP snapper on the front. It runs Android 13 with Motorola My Ux skin on top. The company promises that Edge+ will get three major Android OS updates and four years of security updates.

Under the hood, the Motorola flagship is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It is backed by a 4,600mAh battery unit with support for 125W wired, 15W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
